My brother Brian sent this to me from last Sunday’s Family Guy episode. It’s a video response to the video Christian Bale is my hero, which Todd posted earlier this month. I am impressed with Family Guy’s ability to spoof this rant so quickly after it happened.
Generally, it takes upwards of an entire year to get a Family Guy Episode produced. Apparently when Christian Bale goes nuts, Family Guy speeds up their process. I am guessing that the animation process is what slows down the show development process, so having that static tape real animation.
Nice work Seth McFarlane and crew! It’s good to see these giant shows reacting now and creating content that can easily be ported to the web. Funny Video sites on the Internet aren’t going away, so embrace it or lose your audience and sponsors.

Recently, some of my friends from high school have been posting old school pictures on Facebook of our younger days. While they are entertaining, it also shows me what a bunch of dirty wanna-be rockers we all used to be. In talking to one of my friends, we reminisced about the stupid games we would play when we were drunk. One of these games was to concoct shots of various ingredients that the other person would have to drink. Now mind you, there were rules… no bodily fluids, and nothing that could potentially kill you- (gas, drano, etc.) Also, there had to be at least one form of alcohol in the shot- which would kill off anything else that might be in the mix (we were drunk, go with it). Needless to say, the purpose of the game was to have the other player suffer as much as possible. During one particularly grueling competition, mouths burning from various hot sauce+whatever shots, one friend of mine decided to lay down the shot to end all shots… pickle juice, tequila, and (without our knowledge) ipecac… and a scene much like this ensued…
