Apparently my hate for the Snuggie blanket is only matched by the amount of parodies around the Snuggie on the Internet. Here’s College Humor’s attempt at poking fun of the Snuggie. In this video, they introduce:

Pretty good stuff, but I still hate the Snuggie with a passion! I am pretty sure that the Snuggie is a carrier of the H1N1 Swine Flu.
I’m a little late to the game with Aziz Ansari, but man is he hilarious! Love the fact that he’s an Indian guy who was born in raised in the South, because the way he merges the two accents and delivers his jokes fantastic. Aziz first appeared on Funny Video Search a few months ago when I posted the Will Arnett Sex Tape. That is probably when I first became a fan as well, because I had never seen Human Giant on MTV.
When I noticed Aziz was on Jimmy Kimmel a few weeks ago, I made it a point to watch his interview and see if there were any good tidbits or jokes… he absolutely KILLED!
Darwish Vs Kanye
During the show, he talks about his two cousins, Harris and Darwish, who are “characters” in his stand up and his real life. Harris is a 12 year old who loves to watch TV shows on CBS like Burn Notice and NBC’s Las Vegas. Darwish recently got into rap music and discovered Kanye West for the first time. Aziz recaps a conversation he had with Darwish about Kanye, a personal friend of Aziz, and hilarity ensues. Words can’t do it justice, so just watch the video.
Mr. Jones is at it again, and this time it’s with his new venture; a BBQ joint that also gives Foot Massages. Sounds as delicious as it does sanitary. Last time he was hawking Truck Rental and Storage, this time he’s got a BBQ place. The premise is simple, as Jones says: “We’ll Fry everything you want for $5.99… anything that’s edible, we’ll make it delcitable. ” – Can’t argue with that logic.

Gotta hand it to Mr. Jones for his persistence. I hope that these aren’t real ads, but they are very funny and the URL’s in the videos actually work.

I originally saw this clip when it aired on SNL several months ago, but didn’t really think the edited version was so laugh out loud funny that I had to post it. It wasn’t until I saw the unedited version that I really appreciated this clip for it’s true genius. Classic video about a man complaining about the amount of sausage that is being placed into a Jimmy Dean Sausage tube. This guy calls to complain to the company about the change, and is pretty livid. It might seem trivial to you (and me, actually), but it is NOT trivial to this guy.
My favorite part of this video is how it is animated along with what the guy is saying, and the animations make him out to be pretty stupid (and his family to be grossly overweight). It reminds me of the misheard lyrics YouTube videos, which I will post in the near future.
When I was growing up, I worshipped my older sister. She was so cool and in tune with the ‘urban’ culture. As a result, I ended up watching the movie House Party with Kid and Play when I was about 10 years old. I didn’t understand half of what was going on, but I do know that they said a lot of words my parents didn’t allow me to say.
My favorite scene in the movie is the part where they are having a dance off at the party, and Kid N Play are going against Tisha Campbell and another chick to see who is better. In the background a song that goes “You look sooo good… ain’t my type of hype baby!” is playing while they dance. Just a classic video moment. I found the video of this scene on YouTube a few weeks ago and had to post it.
Why does this go on a web site with Funny Videos? Well, because this video is hilarious! Not necessarily for the content, but for the styles from the early 90’s (Kid’s ‘Eraser Head’ – Guys with lines shaved into their sideburns like Vanilla Ice). The clothes are classic as well. And really, the dancing style, while impressive, is sort of funny as well. I am posting this video because it is unintentionally funny. It is the product of its early 90’s environment.
The WTF Blanket / Snuggie makes a comeback… and basically ruins everyone’s lives. I still hate the Snuggie as much as I did last time I wrote about it, but I still feel compelled to post about it.
Under Cover at a Snuggie Party
The good folks at Funny or Die came out with a fake expose about the Snuggie and the dangers that people face when wearing them. Most of the dangers revolve around laziness, which makes sense, because Snuggies are for lazy people who suck at life. If you are too lazy to watch TV with a regular blanket, then you have bigger problems than cold hands.
Sorry for the slow posting of videos lately, but I have been out of town and am getting caught up. Here is the sequel to the Cleveland Tourism Video I posted a few weeks ago. The sequel video follows the same tune as the first, only this time it’s a lot more cynical and the language is a bit aggressive.
Apparently there is no shortage of negative aspects to Cleveland, because the singers are able to pick apart several more shortcomings of the city. Having never been to Cleveland, I cannot tell how true these are, but I’m guessing they have a fair amount of accuracy. At the end they say at least we’re not Detroit. This is probably accurate too. However, when I was in Detroit, I stayed in a really nice place and really enjoyed the city… so what do I know.
