I’ve already posted the Allen Iverson Meltdown vs. Jim Mora Meltdown video, and now I’m going to take things one step further.  This amazing video takes all sports meltdowns over the past several years and mashes them into one… all in the form of a music video.  The voices are blended together using the “auto tune” method that has become so popular in hip hop music (think T-Pain and Kanye West).

If you follow sports at all, you should find this video to be amazingly well done!

I haven’t had much of a chance to watch Conan on his new show/time slot, but if he keeps on having sketches like this, chances are that he will win America over.  I have been a huge fan of him for years, and among my favorite running sketches is Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, who is played by comedian/writer Robert Smigel.

Combine one of my favorite ongoing sketches and one of my favorite pastimes, making fun of hippies, and you end up with a pretty awesome clip.  Just 5 pure minutes of Triumph making fun of the bands, and their followers.  I’m not sure how long it actually takes to film one of these Triumph clips, but the bonaroo sketch is packed with great one liners.

Who would have thought that the newest plan to the the United States out of the recession is through a website called Cash4gold.com, which gives you cash for your unused gold! I knew we could do it!

Or perhaps this isn’t the best plan of action for America, since they surely won’t get the true value of the gold they would be pawning. Thankfully, this isn’t a real news story, but rather a premise brought to us by the folks at the Onion. Now, if the president actually DOES start to think this is a good, let me be the first one to say that I disagree with this approach to settle our debt. It is not a good idea.

Kudos to the Onion once again for their ability to make anything funny.  In this video, they talk about Olympic Gymnast Shawn Johnson as if she is a horse.  A horse who just broke her leg and had to be euthanized.

Some classic lines from her “parents” in this video, talking about how since she couldn’t compete in Gymnastics anymore, or if she did compete, she wouldn’t be the same, they had to put her down.   They didn’t even get a chance to breed her!  However, they will raise other gymnasts, and the next one will be named “Spirit of Shawn.”  I can’t wait to see her compete in the 2024 Summer games!

Sometimes you come across a video that is just too funny to not post.  This happens to be one of those.  I found it on comedian Aziz Ansari’s blog and had to tell the world about the awesomeness.

Not sure of the context in which this video was taken, but basically it involves 3 guys dancing in front of the video camera to the theme song from the Legend of Zelda game on the Nintendo 64.  You really have to just watch it.   This could be the new nooma nooma guys!

I keep on expecting them to stop the music and say “Do you mind if we dance with your dates?”

A classic video from everyone’s favorite Canadian spoof artist, Jon Lajoie.   Even more classic is that this was sent to me by my friend Mandy, who happens to be one of my best buddy’s wife.  Imagine my surprise when she emailed me with the subject line “show me your genitals!”  Let’s just say I regret not clicking on the Youtube link right away, because she now has a compromising photo of my nether regions.  Awkward!

Actually, I made up that whole story, other than the fact that Mandy did send it to me over the weekend.  Good find, Mando!  Apparently a lot of other people like this guy too, as he’s already received over 14 million views!

I’m fast becoming a fan of Jon Lajole… hopefully one of these days I can learn how to spell his name right.

This site should just be called Snuggie Video Search.  First we posted the Snuggie Interventions Video.  Next, there was the Snuggie Spinoffs.  Now we come full circle with a Snuggie Spin Off called “blanket” – which takes the Snuggie back to its true roots.

Why would anyone need a Snuggie when they can just use a blanket?  Great question.  I don’t have an answer.  The only explanation I can think of is that they suck at life and hate themselves.
